What happens if my bank transfer is returned?
If you're bank transfer is returned, it's most likely because you had insufficient funds in your account to complete the transfer.
Although you may have had sufficient funds when initiating the transfer, it can take 2-4 business days for the transaction to complete. If during that time your available balance dropped below the transfer amount, the transfer will be returned.

Whale does not allow a 2nd attempt for an ACH transfer until the returned ACH fee is paid. Please choose a different method to complete your payment.
Whale's banking partner charges a $25 fee for returned ACH payments. If your bank transfer is returned, this fee will be added to your Whale account and must be paid along with your deposit.
