Will I receive a tax document (1099) for my Whale account?

If you earned more than $10 in interest on your Whale account during the tax year, you will receive a 1099 from our brokerage partner, Alpaca Securities.

You'll receive an email notification when the document is available and it will be posted in your Whale account under "Documents".
